Kalbi (Korean BBQ Short Ribs)

- 5 lbs boneless beef short ribs
- 1 cup chopped yellow onion
- 3 tbsp minced garlic
- 3-4 stalks green onion
- 1” ginger
- 2 kiwi fruit
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- ¼ cup rice wine
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- thinly slice the beef short ribs across the grain to be about ¼” thick
- blend all the marinade ingredients in a blender
- put the short ribs in a sealable bag and pour in the marinade
- marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight
- pan fry on high for 1 min on each side and serve
