Supercharged Celery Sticks, this Sichuan Celery Salad will open up any appetite even on a hot and muggy summer day.

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1-2 thai chili peppers
Instructions
  1. blanch celery in a large pot of boiling water for 30 seconds - 1 minute
  2. put into an ice bath to stop cooking process
  3. drain and cut into 2” x ½” sticks
  4. mince garlic and thinly slice chili peppers
  5. add garlic, chili peppers, salt, sugar, sesame oil, and lime juice to celery sticks
  6. mix everything together and refrigerate until chilled and serve cold
